80-90 Days to maturity. Fall Planting. Mid-Spring Blooming Muscari armeniacum. Grape Hyacinth Flower Bulbs. Non-GMO, heirloom. Perennial in zones 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Deer resistant. Attracts pollinators. Displays purplish blue-colored blooms in the mid-spring. Recommended for growing in beds, containers, and edging. Grape Hyacinths are great for use as a border, bedding, rock gardens, naturalizing, or ground cover plant in the landscape. It has a compact, spreading growth habit with tolerance to cold, drought, grazing, and high altitude conditions. Grape Hyacinth flowers are not recommended for culinary use. Muscari armeniacum has received the award of garden merit. This plant is also known as Armenian Grape Hyacinth, Blue Bottle, and Bluebell. It brings a burst of blue to the garden at a time when few other plants are blooming.
