Fertilizer - Espoma Garden Food 10-10-10 - 6.75lb Bag
Espoma Garden Food 10-10-10 is an agricultural-grade all-purpose fertilizer. It provides the three major nutrients for plants: nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Like all Espoma plant foods, no sludges or fillers are ever used in the formula. This would be a great option for a general nutrient boost at the beginning of the season, as it provides your plants with a balanced array of nutrients.

How To Use
For individual plants or seeds, mix one teaspoon of Epsoma Garden Food with soil used to backfill holes. Once the plants are established apply about one-eighth a cup per plant. For garden application, use about one and a half pounds per 100 square feet of garden soil. For row planting, apply one pound per fifty feet of 30-inch rows. Always water after feeding.
Never place fertilizer granules directly on seeds or plants. Try to keep them at least 3 inches away to avoid burning. Mix the fertilizer into the soil before planting or avoid disturbing roots or seeds. Repeat the feeding monthly throughout the growing season or as your plants need. Avoid applying more than directed.
Tips From Our Gardeners
”I always recommend mixing a high-quality fertilizer into the soil before planting each spring. Doing this gives the young seedlings and transplants the best chance in the early spring. Remember, fertilization must be paired with proper watering practices, or else it is just a wasted product!"
