Bolivian Criollo Black is classified as a dark tobacco, but it has many characteristics similar to a burley. The flavor is similar to a medium strength burley. The leaves turn a light green and yellow as they ripen, and air cure easily to a light brown. It can be used as a pipe tobacco, or blended with other tobaccos for cigarettes or cigar filler.
