Growing Non-GMO Bee Mix Wildflower Flower Seeds

Wildflower seeds are accustomed to surviving all on their own in the wild. Therefore, they are easy to plant and maintain. Prepare the growing area by weeding, removing debris, and lightly tilling the top 3 inches of soil. Scatter the seeds in the fall or springtime and watch them bloom all summer long! Use about 8 ounces of seed per 1,000 square feet for broadcast sowing. Scatter the seeds and lightly tamp them into the soil. They will flourish more readily when they are watered at the time of planting until they become well-established and during long periods without rain. Depending on the climate, you may need to cut these back every few years to keep them from overspreading or re-plant the seed mix again if it appears to be thinning out.

This is a specially chosen mix of annuals and perennials that benefit bees and will readily thrive in many climates. The perennials will return happily every year, and the annuals will voluntarily reseed. To prevent re-seeding, remove blooms as soon as they are done, however this is not commonly done with wildflowers. Plant this mix once, and you should get color year after year! Avoid pesticide use on this mix to protect the health of your local bees.

Bee Mix Wildflower in the Flower Garden

Wildflowers are simple to plant and care for, yet they improve any landscape drastically. Use these as a mass planting along a fence or driveway, in garden boxes, and more! Expect to see flowers from spring into early fall. In some areas of the Southern USA, you may even see some blooms in the winter, spring, or fall as well!

Landscaping With Bee Mix Wildflowers

Wildflowers are perfect for easily filling in large areas where there needs to be color and greenery. Prevent erosion and enhance the landscape by utilizing these flowers. They look stunning when grouped in a mass, but can also work in rows. Keep in mind some flowers included can get rather tall, reaching 4-6 feet.
