90 Days to maturity (from transplant). Capsicum annuum. Pimiento de Padron (Organic) Pepper Seeds. Non-GMO, annual, organic, open-pollinated, heirloom, hot-type pepper with medium heat levels. 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville Heat Units. Suitable for growing in garden plots, raised beds, and greenhouses. At the green stage peppers are sweet or mildly hot. As they turn red they get much hotter. Padron makes a great frying pepper or even a pickled pepper. Most folks in Spain fry them in a bit of olive oil. Approximately 40 seeds per package.
