Celebrate Memorial Day with the Flanders Poppy

The classic red poppy has long been used as a way to remember fallen soldiers dating back to World War 1. You may notice various displays of the poppy showing up in art, fashion, or written word to commemorate those who have passed on from this life. Such displays have often been worn by royalty in the form of pins or broaches to remember and pay respect to those who have served in their military. You too can participate in these celebrations by learning more about the holiday, the symbols associated with it, and growing your own memorial poppies. 10% of all American Legion Flanders Corn Poppy seed packets will be donated directly to American Legion, a veterans organization devoted to servicemembers and veterans. In addition, we will be donating American Legion corn poppy seeds yearly.
