Mugwort Seeds

Mugwort is an aromatic perennial prized for its medicinal purposes. It can also be used as a culinary herb, however, it is not as popular. As medicinal herb mugwort is used to relieve digestive problems, and high blood pressure, as a sedative, laxative, and liver tonic. It can also be used as an insect repellant due to its natural properties. Because of its weed-like hardiness mugwort is considered a noxious weed in the midwestern regions of the U.S. When planting be sure to put your seeds through a cold stratification about 2-4 weeks before you plant. This will mimic the natural winter dormancy stage these plants need to sprout. Then, simply press into the soil without covering the seeds.
